Class Description: We will begin by studying the floral paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe.
Like Ms. O’Keefe, we will explore close-up views of native plants from the North Eastern United States. Meadowood provides the perfect location for viewing a wide variety of native species. Water color techniques will be demonstrated that will allow the participant to complete a beautiful flower painting using washes, dry brush, and wet-on-wet methods. Note: Dress appropriately for the weather and to paint.
