Spring Tea with Mamie Eisenhower (AKA Ruthmary McIlhenny)

The Adams County Arts Council will host a Spring Tea on Sunday, May 5 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Arts Education Center, 125 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg. Biggerstaff Catering will supply a delightful variety of sandwiches, scones and assorted teas. Ruthmary McIlhenny will perform her first person dramatic presentation. Mamie’s story is a recollection of her first meeting with Ike, the trials and tribulations of marriage, war, politics, the presidency and their life together in Gettysburg. Young and old alike are sure to enjoy this delightful presentation. Tickets are $25 per person and are available online or by calling 717-334-5006. Reservations are required by April 30, 2013.
