Aside from her powerhouse voice, Michelle is noted for her on-stage charm and wit. On Valentine’s Day, 2011, Michelle presented a sold-out cabaret, which was as outstanding for its vocals as it was for its concept and comedy. It was so good, Trio Entertainment, the producers of the “Cabaret in the Sky” series for the Ware Center, asked Michelle to come back. She returns with a new concept and an exciting set of new songs.
Michelle Rajotte is originally from Massachusetts and came to Lancaster County in 1999 to perform with the American Music Theatre. She has been the featured female vocalist every year since then. Michelle has had the leads in “Dance Explosion,” “The AMT Band Plays Abbey Road,” “California Soul,” “Nashville City Limits,” and as Shelly in her most recognized roll in “Winter Wonderland.” Michelle was also the lead in AMT’s smash “Music of the Night: The Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber,” where she sang every show-stopping song written for females, from “Phantom of the Opera”, “Evita” and other well-known Webber musicals.
Michelle has also performed in Prima Theatre Company.’s “Songs for a New World” and “How Sweet it is,” where she was called “adorable and amazingly talented.”
