Hershey-Derry Township Historical Society Seeks Artists, Authors, and Artisans

Hershey- Derry Township Historical Society seeks local artists, authors, and artisans with interest in participating in the 6th Annual Festival of Local Artists, Authors, and Artisans.  The event will be held on May 5, 2012, from 1-4 p.m., at theHistoricalSocietyMuseum on40 Northeast Drive in Hershey.

In the past, the artwork has varied from oil and watercolor paintings to useful and unique stained-glass art, exquisite hand-made pottery, traditional broom-making, lovely jewelry, intricate wood-carvings, photography and film-making.

The local artists and authors include: Jennifer Monahan, author of My First Three Husbands; Ed Uravic; Joseph LaFrance, whose watercolors feature iconic images of Hershey landmarks; and local filmmaker Brian Kreider.
