“Bob Hines: National Wildlife Artist” with John Juriga

The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art is proud to announce the next installment in our Discovery Lecture Series: Bob Hines: National Wildlife Artist, which will be held on Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at the Ned Smith Center.

Get an in-depth look at the Center’s Olewine Gallery exhibit, “Bob Hines: National Wildlife Artist,” with Hines biographer John Juriga.  In addition to his lecture on Hines’ life and art (Hines was the only person ever to be designated as an official “National Wildlife Artist”), Juriga will lead attendees on a guided tour of the exhibit, and sign copies of his recent biography on Hines, Bob Hines: National Wildlife Artist.

The Hines exhibit will be on display in the Center’s Olewine Gallery through September 1, 2013.

This event is part of the Discovery Lecture Series, a series of evening programs designed to educate the public about the natural world and inspire active participation in it.

Admission to the program is $5 per person.  Ned Smith Center members can use their membership coupons to receive ½ price admission to the program.  Advance tickets are available for purchase in the Center’s gift shop, by phone at 717-692-3699 or on the Center’s website, www.nedsmithcenter.org.
