We are an upscale art gallery located in the heart of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and only 10 minutes from downtown Harrisburg. The 2nd Floor Gallery is owned and operated by Jeffrey S. Van Boskirk. We have many works from internationally known artists, established regional and local artisits as well as up and coming new artists. We are more than just an art gallery. We want to share a cultural experience with you. Framing, interior design, art classes and workshops, art restorations, coporate art, ballroom dance lessons and other musical events can all be found at the gallery. See our calendar of events for the dates of the monthly art receptions and the list of featured artists. We are always adding new artwork so stop by often.

Mission: 3rd Street Studio inspires hands-on creative exploration and expressive imagieation through the arts. Offers art lessons. Exhibits works of art by students and emerging artists. Studio space is available for developing artists. The working studio lends the opportunity for developing artists and the community to experience art in the making.The Fine Arts Gallery showcases works of art by local established artist and emerging artist. The gallery does collaborative work with local churches and community groups to support projects and promote arts education and appreciation of the arts.

The AACA Museum is dedicated to the Celebration, Preservation, Education, and Display of the American Motor Vehicle history that provides value for our members, hobbyists, and the public.Today’s AACA Museum is professionally staffed, collecting institution presenting semi-permanent and temporary exhibitions. Exhibitions are supported by educational programs for school and community audiences. It sponsors workshops and other activities designed to raise public awareness and appreciation of the role that the automobile has played in shaping 20th century America. The AACA museum celebrates the role of the collector in preserving and making assessable a material record of this phenomenon. It is also unique in that virtually all the cars on display have been opened or donated by AACA members.

Ten years ago, a group of area musicians, led by Dr. Brian Norcross, undertook a bold venture: to create a genuine chamber orchestra comprised of local musicians, and dedicated to bringing the finest music for small orchestra to the region.For our Gala Tenth season in 2011, we've decided to celebrate in two significant ways. First, we decided to invite several favorite soloists from prior seasons to return, and second, we decided to commission three brand-new pieces of music, to have a World Premiere at each of our three concert weekends!Mark your calendars for the second Saturday of each month at 2 and 7:30pm. We hope to see you at every concert in the Barshinger Center for Musical Arts at Franklin and Marshall College!

Sandra Marino is an artist the works primarily with oils on roofing paper or canvas that has been gessoed in a liquid asphalt. She also does mural and faux painting for homes and businesses.

Art Kaleidoscope is a monthly gathering for a slideshow of artwork presented to the community by a variety of local artists. The event will be held at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, 1302 N 3rd Street, Harrisburg, PA on the last Tuesday of every month from 6-9pm.Local artists are invited to sign up to participate in a 5-minute spot in a two-hour long slideshow. The slideshow is accommodating to artists working in a wide range of mediums such as painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, film, music, writing, etc. Artists are encouraged to share new, old, on-going or in-progress projects.The goals of this monthly gathering are to showcase a variety of artwork by many local artists and to bring together artists and art patrons in this community.

The Art Studio Tour is a yearly show of artists and artisans of the Lebanon Valley. It is in its twelfth year and is a free driving tour of artist studios. One can observe the creative process, speak with the artist and purchase work on site.

The Custom Frame Shop is in the gallery offering a roomful of mouldings to choose from, creative ideas and restoration services.Exhibits change monthly or bi-monthly.We have something for every everyone from the budget-wise to the fine art collector.

Arts on Union Gallery and Creative Design Studio exhibits the work of Painter/Photographer Christine Goldbeck and guest artists. Our studio does commercial and arts photography, interior, print and web design and offers classes.

ArtSHIP-Shippensburg’s Art, Wine & Brew FestivalThe 4th Annual Shippensburg Art, Wine and Brew Festival sponsored by Shippensburg University’s Alumni Office & Art Department, Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and D.O.I.T (Downtown Organizations Investing Together) is going to be held on Saturday, June 4th from 12 to 5 p.m. on the North Earl Street Triangle near the Old Main Drive campus entrance of Shippensburg University. A wristband must be purchased for the wine and beer sampling. The cost of the wristband is $20 per person and it includes your souvenir wine or beer glass, sampling and entertainment (You must be 21 years or older to purchase a wristband).

Bel Voce , founded in 1975, is a leading edge choral ensemble comprised of experienced auditioned singers from the South Central Pennsylvania region. Dedicated to engaging singers and audiences in skilled performances of a diverse choral repertoire, Bel Voce provides a series of concerts each season designed to reach audiences from a wide range of ages and backgrounds through music that educates, entertains and feeds the soul.

A Colorado native, Teri is a multidiscipline artist and teacher. Drawing from the beauty of Colorado, she combines techniques in the making of jewelry. Her compositions all come together in contemporary, whimsical and ornamental designs. It was the simplicity of shaping the wire by hand using minimal tools without solder or glue that drew her to the techniques she uses the most. Her jewelry reflects her own unique individual style. She uses .925 sterling silver, as well as a variety of stones, minerals, shells, glass and other materials in her jewelry.

We are a professional LIVE Theatre company that opened in Harrrisburg Mall Nov.19th,2010. We are opening GODSPELL March 18th 7:30pm runs til 4/23. This is our third show. We are excited and grateful to be in Harrisburg Mall.

Mike and Donna Brown own Brown’s Country Originals. We create unique folk art for home and garden. I am a self-taught artist and have been doing art since I was very young. I have worked in wood, clay, oils, water colors, chalkware and paper mache. Most recently my concentration has been in chalkware and paper mache. My pieces can be described as uniquely crafted folk art with a little whimsy. Each figure has their own unique look which makes them a one of a kind piece. I am a member of the PA Guild of Craftsmen and juried member of the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen. My paper mache pieces are hand sculpted of paper mache clay, hand painted, numbered, signed and dated.

The Carlisle Arts Learning Center (CALC) serves and enriches the community by encouraging creativity and self-esteem through exploration and appreciation of the visual arts. It does this via classes and workshops, gallery exhibits, a sales gallery along with participation in community events and festivals. It offers its member artists several places to exhibit their artwork for sale at the physical location and numerous off sites.

Centro Hispano Jose Hernandez is located in York, PA. We provide services (primarily) to the York County Latino community. Our bi-lingual services include: Referral Desk, Career Counseling, Family Support and Health Awareness Classes, and English Classes.

I am a professional wood worker. Where painters might use oil as their medium, I use wood as my pallet of color. At present, my tool of choice is the wood lathe. Turning out one of a kind pieces using several varieties of domestic woods as well as a large variety of exotics from around the world. I currently use three techiques in my work. Segemented Turning, Stack Ring Lamination and Stave Construction.

Contempo Jewelry pieces are nature-inspired designs featuring wire working techniques using precious metals, semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls. I have been a jewelry artist since 1999 and my background includes a mix of workshops and self-taught methods. My work has sold on etsy, local boutiques, galleries, stores, and juried art and craft shows. I specialize in bridal wear, it’s my absolute favorite! Being a small part of someone’s big day is an honor and I cherish every moment.

The Cultural Enrichment Fund is the capital region's united arts fund. Its mission is to provide financial support to Central Pennsylvania's arts and cultural organizations through an efficient and effective annual fundraising campaign.These dollars are then allocated as general operating support, the toughest dollars for arts groups to raise, to thirteen member arts groups throughout the region. In addition, the Fund supports arts programs that stimulate future arts audiences and contribute to a more vibrant arts community through its supplemental grant fund.
